School Holiday Programme
We hold Holiday Programmes throughout the Spring, Summer and October school holidays with FREE food and activities for school age children and their families.

Opened in February 2019 this welcoming space provides a great opportunity groups to meet.
Weekly activities include:
Easy Exercise classes (Thursdays 1:30-2:30pm)
Breakfast morning (Fridays 10-11:15am)

Queensland Community Lounge Timetable
With over 50 years of tradition this community lounge has a wide selection of activities delivered by the local residents.
Weekly activities include:
Tea & Coffee (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2-4pm)
Easy Exercise (Thursdays 12:15 - 1:15pm)
BINGO (Mondays 7-9pm)
Queensland Community Park offers a newly landscaped outdoor space with a cycle track, multi use games area, bee hotel bike storage, alongside adventurous play and seating areas.
Herriet Court Resident Lounge
Herriet Court, 37 Herriet Street, Pollokshields, G41 2JY.
Resident’s breakfast mornings are back on Monday mornings in the Resident’s Lounge with Community Cook Rachel Anderson. Resident’s and their families can join Rachel from 10:30am – 12:30pm, with food being served until 11:45am. If you can’t stay, just take some food away – all free of charge.

Located within our Independent Living Community property this resident lounge along with the gardens are available for a series of events and activities.

The community base is well used by local community groups for one off events and community activities and is also home to Glendale Women Café (10-3pm Tuesday and Wednesdays – term time)
