September Weekend Office Closure

Please note that Southside Housing’s office will be closed from Friday 25 September and will reopen at 9:00am on Tuesdy 29 September.

During this time, our office will be closed for routine enquiries. Emergency repairs will continue to be dealt with as normal.

Reporting an Emergency Repair

If you experience an emergency repair during the weekend, please contact our out-of-hours emergency repair service: 0141 422 1112

What is classed as an emergency repair?

An emergency repair is an issue that poses an immediate risk to your health, safety or the security of your home, or could cause serious damage to the property.

Examples include:

• Loss of all heating or hot water
• Burst pipes or severe water leaks
• Total loss of electricity
• Unsafe electrical fittings
• A blocked toilet where there is only one toilet in the home
• Broken external doors or windows that leave your home unsecure
• Gas leaks or suspected carbon monoxide issues

For non-urgent repairs, please email repairs@southside-ha.co.uk and the team will deal with your enquiry on their return.

We aim to process housing applications with 20 working days. 

However, due to a current backlog, applications are taking longer than usual to process.  We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.  You will be notified once your application has been processed.

To help us process applications as quickly as possible, please avoid contacting the office by telephone to request an update on your application.  This allows our staff to focus their time on processing applications rather than responding to enquires, which can further delay processing times.
